Just sold my company, so I can always be an entrepreneur again. Got enough to not work for a few years without sweating about it, but not to never work again. I need to level up if I want to get where I'm going, or have any of [[My Dream Jobs]]. Now I want a "real job". I want to work for someone else. If I want to become the person I need to be, I have to. It’s not about the money, status, or pride. I want to be the best at one thing, to master it completely. I know I’ll learn more with a great team than I ever could alone. Entrepreneurship is lonely, hard, and feels free for the first decade or so - But if you build a company, hire a GM, and walk away you’re still responsible for the 2 dozen people it employs. I don't want that again. I don't want to build companies right now. I want to build MGG V5.0 1.0 was a hustler 2.0 was a hooligan 3.0 was a pretty smart kid 4.0 was a consultant playing entrepreneur 5.0 is a Modern Industrialist I don’t want that at this point in my life. I'm not sure I'll want a team directly employed by me larger than 2 or 3. I’ll keep them with me long term, but they’re personal (not part of a company). Don’t let the entrepreneurship/startup/hustle porn fool you. The only right choice is the one you choose to make.
