Plan for audio. Record with video. Transcribe to text.
That is the core of the audio first content creation workflow.
Today, I outlined my draft with a few bullets in my notebook. Then I started recording this.
After the initial recording. I'll go back over it clean up the transcript into a script, and then record a video.
When I use Descript, or a tool like it, I am given the ability to edit my text and my audio at once. I can edit my audio like I edit my text.
So as a result, I'm able to create my audio with my text in mind. We listen to video as much, if not more, than we watch it. And that key factor means that we don't have to invest a lot of time into making the video so long as it's good enough.
As you can see w hile you're watching this. The video is just me talking with a simple background. It's not about the style of the video so much as it is about putting a video out there.
Putting that moving, talking face for social media.
So, from now on, you'll be able to see my lovely moving, talking face. Talking to you here on Twitter and LinkedIn with my daily atomic essays in video and text form. At the same time, all my audio is posted as a daily podcast.
