## Summary
A Spec Sheet is a short document covering the most important high level concepts for an operational process. At Call For Content, we use them for Marketing Plays, Proposing New Tests, and Content Projects of all types. They make it easy to keep the team operating from a cohesive knowledge base. In the summary portion they cover the What and Why. The metrics portion contains the key measurements, benchmarks, and the hypotheses. The use cases section describes the most effective hypothetical uses for them as well as any previous successful uses, it may include links to case studies done by others or internally. The costs portion describe any startup and ongoing costs. The current toolset links to any SOPs, software, templates, code, or other tools required for the actual doing of the thing. When complete, a Spec Sheet is like the index for a Playbook.
