* Make sure to make updates to transcribing errors, such as individual names, and complicated words that the transcription service may have transcribed incorrectly
* While reviewing the episode make a note of the **main questions asked by the host and topics discussed in the episode**, Examples of primary questions: (NOTE: These are only examples of questions)

**Step 2**
* Break down the episode into 1 segment for every ~5-15 minutes of discussion.
* Use the Guest’s answers to summarize what they say
* Look for other interesting segments and add those also (Tip, look for segments that the guest and the host spent time talking about, and what they seemed passionate about)
* We are looking for about 5 (4-6) bullet points on each show notes segment
Important points to remember when writing the guest’s answers as a summary.
* **Never write what they said verbatim**, your job is to paraphrase and pull actionable insights.
* **DO** summarize processes, methods, and activities they recommend as separate sections
* Don’t overuse the guest's name, or repetitively use pronouns such as he and she.
* Make sure your points flow and are easy to read
* Ensure that you use [Grammarly](https://app.grammarly.com/) if you don’t have it, then stop and get it now from your Lead

**Step 3**
* Layout your show notes into a Google Doc and add it to the correct folder in the Google Drive
* Research the guest, and their company, and write a short summary about them and their company at the top of your show notes

* When it comes to new clients and growth, Mike feels that it is hard to forecast what the future growth would be, currently, their growth has been organic.
* He has some great relationships with clients and is very lucky that they tell other people nice things about him.
* Mike is looking at some amazing prospects for 2019, this has resulted in cold calling the front desk of potential clients and just not taking no for an answer.
* He knows who he wants to work with and he tries really hard to generate those leads. However, their existing clients are by far the most important to him.

[The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho](https://www.amazon.com/Alchemist-Paulo-Coelho/dp/0061122416)
_The Alchemist_ is the magical story of Santiago, an Andalusian shepherd boy who yearns to travel in search of a worldly treasure as extravagant as any ever found. From his home in Spain, he journeys to the markets of Tangiers and across the Egyptian desert to a fateful encounter with the alchemist.
The story of the treasures Santiago finds along the way teaches us, as only a few stories have done, about the essential wisdom of listening to our hearts, learning to read the omens strewn along life's path, and, above all, following our dreams.
